Watch this special screening of A Guided Tour of the Unacceptable ( a.k.a TOTU), followed by a live performance by special guest - one of the musicians from the TOTU soundtrack .

A Guided Tour of the Unacceptable is a geographical and historical tour of the UK’s nuclear weapons on the Clyde and resistance to them, with archive footage of sixties sit-downs , huge demos in the 80’s, canoes buzzing the first Trident arrivals, mass blockades, up to the 21st Century XR protesters, and long shots of some of Scotland’s most strikingly beautiful scenery, as the militarised infrastructure is noted and explained.

Suggested regular price for a ticket = £12, concession ( those on benefits/ low income/ Scottish CND member) = £5 . If you can't afford to pay, please book a ticket anyway- all are very welcome.

The morning of February8, 1977, Anthony G. “Tony” Kiritsis, 44, entered the office of Richard O. Hall, president of the Meridian Mortgage Company, and took him hostage with a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun wired with a “dead man’s wire” from the trigger to the Hall’s head. This is the true story of the stand-off that took the world by storm as Tony demanded $5 million, no charges or prosecution, and a personal apology from the Halls for cheating him out of what he was “owed.”

Her spirit joins the Wilis: the vengeful ghosts of women hell-bent on killing any man who crosses their path in a dance to the death. Wracked with guilt, Albrecht visits Giselle’s grave, where he must face the Wilis – and Giselle’s ghost.

Peter Wright’s 1985 production of this quintessential Romantic ballet is a classic of The Royal Ballet repertory. Set to Adolphe Adam’s evocative score and with atmospheric designs by John Macfarlane, Giselle conjures up the earthly and otherworldly realms in a tale of love, betrayal and redemption.
