Did you know that you can hire out our lovely cinema on an exclusive use basis?

Invite your family or friends to enjoy the latest film releases in a private screening at the Robert Burns Centre. Share your love of film with your guests, with the auditorium all to yourselves!

The Robert Burns Centre is a perfect space for a children’s birthday party, a hen night, a work-related presentation in a unique setting, or even a wedding with a difference.

 Hires are available in two-hour slots but you are welcome to set up 30 minutes before the start of the hire. You also have 15 minutes of clean-up time afterwards.

The time slots are:

10am - 12pm

11am - 1pm

12pm- 2pm

2pm – 4pm

3pm - 5pm

You are welcome to serve your own refreshments, or you can purchase 100ml tubs of Cream o’Galloway ice-cream (£2.50) and popcorn (£1.25 for a single bag, or £2.50 for a sharing bag).

Costs

A two hour hire of the auditorium (plus 30 minute set up and 15 minute tidy up) showing a film of your choice that you provide on DVD/BluRay: £115

If you wish to see a new release film, you can book a private screening during the week that the film is screening to the public. Costs range from £200 - £500 depending on the film.

IMPORTANT – Payment must be made in full or a non-refundable deposit of £50 within 2 weeks of confirmation of your booking. If we have not received payment we will release your slot.

Please help our staff tidy up afterwards. You are responsible for taking all your rubbish home.

Maximum capacity - 69 seats.

For children’s parties, we recommend at least one adult per ten children.

Fully accessible to 3 wheelchair users.
