Premature is a contemporary Scottish rom-com, shot and set in Glasgow, about two flatmates whose impulsive one-night stand leads to an unexpected pregnancy.
When meticulous, career-obsessed Cameron (James Rottger) discovers his aimless flatmate Eilidh (Elle Watson) is pregnant after their drunken one-night stand, both assume there is an obvious way out. But when Eilidh finds she cannot go through with the termination, the pair are forced into an awkward, absurd and increasingly intimate attempt at preparing for parenthood. As they stumble into something that looks suspiciously like a relationship, they begin to question the lives they thought they wanted and what they really mean to each other.

The 50th Anniversary of punk is being celebrated with a new documentary from internationally renowned producer/director Danny Garcia - also responsible for recent docs on Stiv Bators, Sid Vicious, Johnny Thunders and The Fuzztones and last year's The Rise and Fall of The Clash Redux - Vive Le Punk focuses on four bands formed during the glory days of punk - Sham 69, 999, Ruts DC and The Boys - and still carrying the torch five decades on.
Featuring new and revealingly candid interviews with all the bands as well as punk icons Charlie Harper, Dr. John Cooper Clarke, Gaye Advert and other noted punk luminaries, the film examines the history of the scene and discusses the meaning and purpose of punk today.

Cabaret brings 1931 Berlin to life inside and outside the Kit Kat Klub. Join us for a special screening of Hal Ashby's black comedy for the 20th Anniversary of the Monday Night Film Club. Originally called Talk Cinema the film + discussion evening was the brainchild of film lecturer Darren Connor. Darren passed away at the very young age of 40 after a charity cycle ride in June 2011. We'll be paying tribute to Darren and we'll also hear from past and present Film Club customers.

Maria, a primary school teacher doing her best to inspire a class of 10-year-olds, is stifled by one unruly and chaotic student. With her career in question and the child's behaviour spiralling, she makes a series of bad decisions that lead to her accidentally taking and locking this "bad apple" in her home. Bitter Christmas is the latest film from iconic director Pedro Almodóvar. The Spanish language drama tells two alternating stories, one starring Elsa, an advertising director, in 2004, during a long weekend in December. The second takes place in 2026 and stars Raúl, a screenwriter and director who is writing a script that we soon discover is the story of Elsa, her boyfriend Bonifacio, and her friends Patricia and Natalia. Mixed with fiction, Elsa is, in a way, Raúl's alter ego, who, like him, resorts to autofiction as a solution to a long period of creative drought. He looks inside himself, and he can't help but also look at the people who make up his most intimate universe: his partner and his assistant. The film narrates the close relationship between reality and fiction, between inspiration and life, exploring the limits of autofiction and stories within stories. In Spanish with English subtitles.
