30 years ago, the Rose of Nevada was lost at sea with all hands. When it suddenly reappears in the harbour of a rundown Cornish fishing village, it feels like a sign: if the Rose sets sail again, perhaps the village’s luck will turn. Nick (George MacKay) takes a job aboard, joined by newly arrived drifter Liam (Callum Turner).
