When two squabbling pet dogs end up in the outside world, they find common ground staving off a gang of abandoned critters out for revenge on humans.
The toys are back with Toy Story 5, and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack) and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie.
A family spend a transformative summer at their cabin on a remote island in the Gulf of Finland. Adapted from Tove Jansson’s beloved novel, the film explores grief, nature, and the delicate bonds between a young girl (Emily Matthews), her wise grandmother (Glenn Close), and her grieving father (Anders Danielsen Lie).

Momo, based on the 1973 fantasy novel by Michael Ende, follows Momo, a young orphan girl living in an old ruin. When mysterious grey gentlemen from a corporation start stealing people's time, Momo and the Guardian of Time must fight to save humanity.
This dark and mesmerising collection of horror and thriller shorts showcases the extraordinary power of animation to illuminate the shadowy corners of the human imagination. This screening is part of Manipulate Arts’ Autumn Animation Season.
Each film delves into the depths of fear, obsession, and the unknown, transforming intangible nightmares into hauntingly beautiful visual experiences. Through a blend of striking artistry and storytelling, creators from around the world unravel cautionary tales that warn of human folly, bring to life the monsters lurking within, and paint chilling visions of futures twisted by our own desires and mistakes. Together, these animated works remind us that sometimes, the most terrifying worlds are the ones we create ourselves. The programme will feature films from four continents, including some of the most exciting titles on the current festival circuit.

At a cosy Christmas party, young Clara meets the mysterious magician Drosselmeyer, who gives her a nutcracker doll. When the guests have departed and the house is asleep, Clara sneaks downstairs in search of the doll. Instead, she finds Drosselmeyer, who whisks her away on a journey into a whole world of enchantment: fantastical landscapes of flurried snow and glittering confection where toys come alive and the magic never stops.
Peter Wright’s production of this festive family favourite sparkles to the wondrous swell of Tchaikovsky’s orchestral score, alongside the glow and grandeur of Julia Trevelyan Oman’s period designs.
