One Battle After Another is our Film of 2025. Many came close, I Swear, Holy Cow, Souleymane's Story and Sirāt to name but a few, but Paul Thomas Anderson's drama about the kidnap of a former revolutionary's daughter is a relentless epic, non-stop until the very end. Never has 2 hour and 40 minutes flown by so quickly. Best viewed on a big screen!
